The 7th Annual Walk for a Wonderful Life happens today in front of the grandstand at the Mack Park fairgrounds. Registration for the walk organized by the Suicide Task Force of Indiana County begins at 1 PM, with speakers and events such as the Angels on Earth Ceremony starting at 2.
The Walk for a Wonderful Life is meant to spread awareness of suicide prevention techniques and programs and break the stigma of mental health treatment. Rather than charging a registration fee, donations will be collected. The Suicide Task Force of Indiana County is comprised of more than 25 volunteer agencies.
