The summer-long repaving project on the Route 119 bypass is nearing completion and there are some changes coming next week for drivers on the busy highway from Homer City to Indiana.
PennDOT says that starting next Wednesday (September 25th) at 7 AM and through next Friday at 6 PM, traffic will be reduced to rolling alternating lane patterns to slow drivers down as crews install rumble strips on the shoulders of the highway.
The alternating traffic will begin at the Lucerne Road intersection in Homer City and will stretch to the Route 286 Clymer ramp outside of Indiana.
The $4.1 million project is scheduled for completion on September 30th.
