It’s been over two months since the Powerball Jackpot was hit and the top prize is close to $600 million.
The multi-state lottery game will be played once again tonight, and it is offering a $580 million annuity prize or a one-time cash prize of $278.2 million. PA Lottery officials say that if the jackpot is won tonight, it would represent the 10th biggest jackpot in the history of the game. This also marks the second time this year that the jackpot has gone over the $500 million mark. The only other time was in January of this year, when tickets purchased in California and Wisconsin split a jackpot of $632.6 million.
If you don’t win tonight, the jackpot is expected to roll over to $610 million for Monday’s drawing.
