No police report is available yet on a serious accident last evening on Iselin Road in Young Township.
Iselin/West Lebanon and Coal Run/McIntire firefighters were dispatched at 5:37 PM along with two ambulances, and minutes later a landing zone was set up for a medical helicopter. The accident reportedly involved entrapment of at least one person, and another person who was ejected through the windshield of the vehicle.
The last twenty-four hours have been busy for emergency responders. Armagh and Clyde firefighters were summoned for duty to Shellbark Road in East Wheatfield Township. The nature of that incident was not detailed.
Blacklick and Blairsville firefighters were sent to a brush fire along Divinney Hollow Road in Burrell Township.
And this morning, Commodore firefighters were dispatched for a vehicle fire along Allison Road in Green Township.
