Marion Center Fire Department was called out for a physical rescue at Martin’s General Store Friday evening.
Indiana County 911 reported that the call went out for Marion Center’s firefighters at 6:52 PM. According to the fire department’s Facebook page, the rescue squad was summoned to Martin’s General Store on Route 119 North near the intersection with Route 85. The rescue was because someone had called in that a baby was locked inside a car. Few details are available on the rescue itself, but fire officials say that the baby was able to be extricated and was safe.
Indiana County 911 also reported on Tuesday that Indiana Fire Association companies 1 and 2 responded to an automatic fire alarm activation on Indian Springs Road in White Township at 2:10 in the afternoon.
A landing zone was set up by Creekside fire department on Bridge Street in Creekside Borough at 8:18 PM.
And just after midnight this morning, Bolivar and New Florence Fire Departments were called for a vehicle crash on Chestnut Street in West Wheatfield Township.
