A Cambria County man was killed Saturday night in a single-vehicle crash on Route 422 in White Township.
Indiana County Coroner Jerry Overman Jr. identifies the victim as 23-year-old Aaron James Whited of Plank Road in Fallentimber. Overman says Whited was traveling westbound when his SUV exited the highway and rolled over several times. He was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. The accident happened about two miles east of the South 6th Street exit.
Whited was pronounced dead at the scene from blunt force trauma to the head and chest. The first call to Indiana County 911 was received at 9:38 PM.
