State police are investigating an incident where someone stole a catalytic converter off a truck.
Troopers say that the theft happened on October 13th at 10:27 AM at the ICCAP building on South Sixth Street, as someone cut the part off a 2011 Ford F450 pickup truck. Police believe that the suspects are experienced thieves, based upon the location and the cuts left behind on the exhaust system. The catalytic converter is valued at $1,200.
Police are warning owners of larger vehicles to be on the lookout for these thieves. If anyone has any information on the theft, they can call state police at 724-357-1960.
