Say this about State System of Higher Education Chancellor Dan Greenstein: he gets around. Trying to remember the last time one of his predecessors visited IUP would be a challenge, but in the year since he took over the job, he’s been here twice, one last fall and once last spring, and he’s coming back in October.
Greenstein has scheduled another fall tour of all fourteen state-owned universities, starting with a visit to Kutztown on September 20th. His visit to IUP is scheduled for October 25th.
The chancellor is leading the “State System Redesign”, which began before he was hired. Evan as he takes on that important role, he is still a dad. Tomorrow, Greenstein and his wife, Melissa, will drop off their daughter at college, and then fly to Seattle to begin the process of Melissa moving to Pennsylvania, which will happen on September 30th.
