Today is the first full day of the Indiana County Fair and there are several activities on the schedule.
On Saturday and Sunday, the fairgrounds were open for limited activities including antique tractor pulls and yesterday’s Harvest Home Celebration. On Sunday, the fair crowned their annual Fair Queen and this year’s queen is Ivy Long, a 17 year-old from Blairsville. She is a Senior at Blairsville High School. The alternate was Madison Gatskie, a 17-year-old senior at Marion Center.
Today at the fair, it is County Commissioners day, where Senior Citizens over the age of 65 and veterans are able to get in for free all day today. The fair is free admission until 2:00 PM today, after that it is $8.00 admission, which includes tonight the Stock Gasoline and Stock Diesel 4×4. That starts at 7:00 PM.
Today is also the first day that C&L’s carnival rides will be active. To ride the rides, people would have to purchase an additional $5 ride all day pass.
Your Hometown Radio Stations will broadcast from the fair today from 11-3.
