Tomorrow is the start of the Indiana County Fair, but action has already started at the Indiana County Fairgrounds.
Activity started yesterday with harness racing and that will continue into today. Usually, the harness races are a part of the fair week celebrations, but Ed Nehrig of the Indiana County Fair said that they moved up the harness racing on request of the racing league.
Admission to the grandstand is free for the harness races today. The races start at 2:00 PM.
Activities will ramp up on Saturday with an antique tractor pull at 9:00 AM and modified and farm tractor pull at 7:00 PM. There will be a $5 admission charge to the grandstand on Saturday.
Sunday is the County Fair 5K race/walk at 8:00 AM, the kids pedal tractor pull from 1-3 PM, the crowning of the Indiana County Fair Queen at 4:00 and the Harvest Home Festival at 5:00 PM. Admission to the fairgrounds on Sunday will be free.
