INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana borough police are investigating a hit and run motor vehicle accident between 7 PM on August 21st and 7:30 AM on the 22nd. Police say that this happened at a private parking lot in the 900 block of Klondyke Avenue. A car legally parked on the road was damaged overnight, and it was pushed into a wooden fence. An Altman man was charged with disorderly conduct for an incident on August 13th. Police say they were called out to the 600 block of Church Street at 12:46 PM on the 13th for an unknown disturbance. Upon arrival, police found Joshua Shaffer creating a disturbance by screaming and acting in a disorderly manner. Shaffer was released from the scene and later charged with disorderly conduct.

An Indiana woman was charged with Driving Under the Influence for a crash that was reported in Plumcreek Township, Armstrong County on August 13th. State Police from the Indiana Barracks reported that 37-year-old Jennifer Rowley was driving her SUV on Route 422 when for unknown reasons, the vehicle went off the northern shoulder and hit a sign. The SUV continued through a parking lot. When Rowley tried to get the vehicle back under control, she hit into some high brush before hitting a large boulder, coming to rest on top of the bolder. Rowley had no injuries. The SUV had moderate to major damage and had to be towed.
