Bill Guerin is the new general manager of the Minnesota Wild. For the last five years, he’s been the Penguins Assistant GM. Guerin won two Stanley Cups as a player, including in 2009 with the Pens. He won two more in the Penguins’ front office.
Guerin becomes the fourth GM in Minnesota history. He takes over for Paul Fenton, who was fired at the end of July after just one season . He played 18 seasons in the NHL.
