The Indiana County Republican Committee has announced that they are seeking people to fill four political positions that have become vacant.
In a news release, the County Republican Committee said that four candidate positions are open for republicans to fill on the upcoming November ballot. Those positions are:
- White Township Supervisor
- Indiana Borough Council-Ward 1
- Ernest Borough Mayor of Council
- Green Township Supervisor
All four positions are two year terms.
Anyone interested in being a candidate for those positions will need to email a resume and cover letter to indianacountygop@gmail.com no later than August 31st. The candidate must be a registered Republican and live in the district where the position is up for grabs. The candidate will be selected by interview and a vote of Indiana County Republican Committee members who reside in those districts. Applicants will be notified of the date of the selection process.
