After rallying from a 3-0 deficit, the Altoona Curve lost a 9th inning lead and fell to Hartford, 5-4 last night. The Curve scored four late runs, including three in the eighth inning, but reliever Blake Cederlind gave up back-to-back walks, an RBI single, and after an intentional walk, a run-scoring groundout to give the Yard Goats the winning run.
Eastern league Player of the Week Logan Hill homered for the Curve and Adrian Valerio and Jared Oliva each had two hits for Altoona.
Domingo Robles starts for the Curve tonight in the series finale.
