Stormy weather last night caused just a bit of damage in the region.
Indiana County 911 dispatched Cherry Tree firefighters to Stifflertown Road in Clearfield County for a tree that came down. And Brush Valley firefighters were summoned for utility lines down along Route 259 in Brush Valley Township.
The National Weather Service, in a “Hazardous Weather Outlook”, says there could be isolated severe storms this afternoon and evening, with damaging wind gusts or a “moisture laden downburst” possible. The chance of rain is 30 percent.
