Indiana borough police are investigating a case of criminal mischief concerning a vandalized vehicle from last Saturday. Police say that they received a report from a resident in the 1200 block of School Street. Someone had damaged the victim’s white Jeep Laredo, as the windows were all smashed out. Troopers have charged an Indiana man with refusing to turn over guns after he was asked to by troopers. State police are saying that a temporary protection from abuse order was filed against the unnamed suspect. That man failed to relinquish any of his firearms or ammunition to law enforcement or sign an affidavit stating that he didn’t own any, which is a violation of the rules.
State police are investigating a case of corruption of minors that happened at various times last month. Police believe that between July 17th and the 31st, an unknown person contacted two girls, a 12-year-old and a 13-year-old on Facebook messenger and sent inappropriate pictures to them. Investigation is continuing.
