While Gas Prices across the state this morning are headed down, Indiana County’s average gas price is still hovering around the $2.90 a gallon mark.
According to AAA East Central, the statewide average cost for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline is $2.82 a gallon, which represents a ten-cent drop from last week’s prices, which was at $2.92 a gallon. Last year, gas prices across the state was at $3.11 a gallon.
Indiana County’s average is now at $2.89 a gallon, still hovering around the $2.90 mark. The most expensive gas price average is in Mercer County with $2.95 a gallon, while the lowest gas price average is Altoona area at $2.56 a gallon.
Among our neighboring counties, Armstrong has $2.88 a gallon, Westmoreland had $2.87 a gallon, Jefferson had 2.85 a gallon on average, Cambria checked in at $2.84 a gallon, and Clearfield had the lowest average at $2.78 a gallon.
