The PIAA District Six committee has ruled Kyle Silk ineligible to participate in athletics at Ligonier Valley.
Silk moved with his father into the Ligonier Valley school district, from the United School Area district. The motion to make him eligible was denied by a 9 to 8 vote. The Silk family and Ligonier Valley district, will appeal the decision to the PIAA board of directors.
