The Pens play their last preseason game tomorrow night at home against Buffalo. Sullivan says the game and the next week of practices will be important for several players who still have a chance to make the team.
Injured center Teddy Blueger skated before practice again yesterday and is still considered “day-to-day” according to Sullivan.
The Penguins formally assigned defenseman Taylor Fedun to Wilkes Barre-Scranton after he cleared waivers. The 34-year-old was the captain there last season. Wilkes Barre-Scranton beat Hershey, 3-2 last night in their preseason opener.
