The Colts routed Apollo Sunday afternoon, 12-0, at Apollo to win Game 3 of the best of 5 ICL championship series and take a 2-1 series lead.
Ian Morrill was a big bat, with four hits and four runs scores. Dave Doak knocked in three runs. Both players hit home runs. Joe Culler had three hits, and Lou Downey drove in three runs as well. The Colts scored five runs in the fourth to all but put it away.
On the mound, it was Brandon McCormick with the one-hitter and he walked only two batters. The win means the Colts can finish it tomorrow in Game 4 at One River. Game time is 5:45 pm.
