Last night, the Steelers took part in training camp at Latrobe Memorial Stadium as part of their annual Friday Night Lights Steelers Festival. During last night’s camp, a backs-on-backers drill was held and this time, two potential starters lined up: Roosevelt Nix vs Vince Williams, with Nix getting bowled over and in the process, flipped Williams over his head.
Players that exited with injuries included wide receiver Diontae Johnson (hip), Williams (hamstring) and fellow linebacker Anthony Chickillo (hamstring). It was Chickillo’s second injury of camp. He may have been injured when he briefly scuffled with un-drafted free agent offensive lineman Fred Johnson late in practice.
