The Homer-Center School board met last night for a special voting session and they hired a new Business manager.
The board hired Michael Kunko as the new business manager to take over for Greg Cessna. He worked for 25 years in his hometown of Portage, and said that when he saw the job opening at Homer- Center, it reminded him of Portage.

The board also hired two temporary professional elementary teachers, a secondary math teacher and a paraprofessional. The board also approved the supplemental contracts, and approved a trip for the district’s varsity cheerleaders to join the high school band at Kennywood on August 5th for the Kennywood Fall Fantasy parade.
