The Steelers gathered at the team’s UPMC Rooney Sports Complex yesterday, searching for answers a day after Sunday’s loss to the Jets.
Defensive tackle Cam Heyward says the entire team, from the coaching staff on down, realizes the task in front of them, and is ready to get to work.
Coach Mike Tomlin will hold his weekly news conference at noon today and the big question will be whether or not Kenny Pickett will get the start at quarterback. The rookie first round draft choice provided a definite spark to the moribund Steelers offense on Sunday and the energy from the fans was quite noticeable. But guard James Daniels says the Steelers offense as a whole can get the crowd excited just by playing well.
The Steelers travel to Buffalo on Sunday afternoon.

Week four of the NFL season ended last night with the San Francisco 49ers downing the LA Rams, 24-9. Jimmy Garoppolo threw for 239 yards and a touchdown to lead the Niners. Matthew Stafford threw for 254 yards for the Rams, but had one pass picked off and was sacked seven times.
