State police are investigating a case where someone’s lost wallet was stolen on June 6th.
Troopers say that at 5:43 PM on the 6th, the victim, Peggy Ann Domenick was at the White Township Kwik Fill on Oakland Avenue and had placed her wallet, containing $150 in cash and her driver’s license on the trunk of her car. She drove off and the wallet fell off the roof and it landed on Oakland Avenue. An unknown woman went into the Kwik-Fill, and after making her purchase, she went out onto Oakland Avenue and took the wallet for herself. After taking the wallet back to her car, she threw out the unnecessary stuff and left the area. The wallet was then given to a Kwik Fill employee, and when Domenick returned to claim her wallet, she found a lot of the contents missing.
