The closure of a portion of Old Route 119 in Center Township takes effect today as part of the $9.3 million Homer City North Roadway Improvement Project.
The roadway closes between the new connector road at Sheetz and Division Street, after a previously-closed section of the road between Trail Lane and the new connector re-opened last Friday. The detour uses Route 119 and Wayne Avenue. PennDOT doesn’t say how long this closure will be. The previous closure took about a month.
