UPDATE: State Police issued a news release early this morning saying that Paula May Erickson was found at 11:45 PM Wednesday safe and sound. Troopers thank all the agencies that assisted in the search and the news media and members of the public for their help.

Troopers are searching for Paula May Erickson, 74, after she left her residence on West Indiana Street, Homer City Borough, Indiana County at approximately 6:15 p.m. this evening and has not returned home.
Troopers believe Erickson may be at special risk of harm or injury and may be confused.
In the course of the investigation, it was determined that Erickson walked out of her residence via the front door and left her personal belongings behind.
Erickson is described as a White, non-Hispanic female and is 5’2” tall and 155 lbs. with hazel eyes and gray hair. She was last seen wearing a blue long-sleeve shirt and dark-colored jogging pants.
Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Paula May Erickson is asked to immediately contact 911.
