UPDATE: Per an email sent to IUP employees, classes and activities are continuing today as scheduled, but an increased police presence will remain at Leonard Hall for now.

IUP police have increased their presence at one of the university’s education buildings after a shooting threat surfaced.
According to IUP Media Representative Michelle Fryling, the threat was discovered on social media earlier today, saying that a shooting would happen at Leonard Hall. She said that while there is no evidence that has lead them to believe that the threat is credible, there is an increased police presence at Leonard Hall to be on the safe side.
