INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana borough police are investigating some vehicle vandalism that could have turned into a dangerous situation. Police say between 7:45 PM on June 29th and 7:30 PM on June 30th, someone approached a white Honda parked behind a business on South 6th street and loosened the lug nuts on the vehicle. State police are investigating a case of burglary in White Township. This happened on June 29th around 12:44 PM at a storage facility along Shelly Drive. The unknown suspect climbed over a fence at the rear of the storage facility and climbed onto the roof of a camper owned by William Burnside of Indiana. They were able to get in the camper through a roof vent and took a memory foam mattress from the camper. Anyone with information on the burglary can call State Police at 724-357-1960.
A Titusville man is charged with contempt for violating a PFA that happened in late-May and early-June. State Police say between May 30th and June 5th, a known Titusville man communicated with a 36-year-old Shelocta woman that he was not allowed to have ANY contact with. The man used Facebook Messenger and Cell Phone Text Messages to contact the woman, who was not identified in the report. Charges have been filed in District Court.
