Today, Stanley Boynton of Indiana and Kevin King of Altoona are scheduled to be before President Judge William Martin in plea court hearings today. The two had testified against Michael Eades last week as he faced charges connected with the death of Tyron Howard at his apartment in Blairsville in September of 2014. Eades was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter late last Friday night. Both King and Boynton helped establish the timeline of events that lead to Howard’s death, which was connected to drug activity. In exchange for their testimony, the two were able to plead guilty to lesser charges. Their hearings are set for 8:30 this morning.
Also due for sentencing this morning is Cory Murdock, who will be sentenced for guilty pleas in two different cases. Both cases took place April of 2016. In one case, Murdock pleaded guilty to DUI, while in the second case, he pleaded guilty to theft by unlawful taking and DUI.
