The State Health Department Secretary has announced that two other conditions will be added to the list of conditions that medical marijuana can be used to treat in Pennsylvania.
Health Department Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine announced that she would add anxiety disorders and Tourette Syndrome as serious medical conditions that would be treated with medicinal marijuana based on recommendations from the Medical Marijuana Advisory Board and a review of research on the use of marijuana to treat these conditions.
Dr. Levine did caution about the use of medicinal marijuana for treating anxiety disorders, saying that a complication may arise from treatment.
