BOYS GOLF
Indiana’s Harrison Martineau yesterday captured the WPIAL Section 1 individual championship for the second straight year, firing a three-under 69 to beat the field by seven strokes at the Youghiogheny Country Club. Martineau was 5-under on the front nine, easily outdistancing Penn Trafford’s Nick Turowski. Indiana’s Trevor Todd and Hunter Martin also qualified for the next round with a 79 and an 80, respectively. Eighty was the cut line.
GIRLS GOLF
Indiana lost to Norwin in their last Section match yesterday, 201-247. Peyton Scott led Indiana with a 58 and Emily Teacher was also in the fifties, with a 59.
