The Homer Center School Board will look to hire a new superintendent tonight.
The board has called for a special meeting to be held at 6:00 tonight. Two items are on the proposed agenda. One is the hiring of the superintendent, while the other will be the hiring of District Business Manager Gregg Kalemba as interim superintendent starting October 3rd and going until the new Superintendent takes over with a stipend of $250 a day. The new superintendent takes over for Curtis Whitesel, who leaves the district at the end of the month to take over as superintendent of the Bald Eagle Area school district.
The meeting will be held in the district boardroom starting at 6:00 tonight.
