State police have announced another arrest from their “Five Most Wanted” list.
Troopers announced that they have arrested 46-year-old Dakar Allen Jones of Monroeville. He is now in custody at SCI-Greene as he is awaiting his preliminary hearing.
Jones is charged with stealing a car from someone in the Eat n Park parking lot on June 3rd of 2018. Troopers said at the time that Jones approached the female victim on a mountain bike and ordered her out of her 2002 Pontiac Grand Am. He then stuffed the bike in the trunk of the car and drove off. The vehicle was eventually recovered.
Jones had been on the “Five Most Wanted” list for some time. Three others remain on the list, including:
- 26-year-old David Lee McGinnis of Bolivar, who is wanted for a 2019 charge of discharging a firearm into an occupied structure at the Day’s Inn in Burrell Township.
- 27-year-old Eric Vaughn Young, Jr. of Indiana, who is wanted for felony conspiracy to possession with intent to deliver in Indiana.
- 22-year old Andrew Jonathan Kabangai of Philadelphia, who is wanted for felony burglary in Indiana in 2018
