First responders have been busy over the last 24 hours.
Two vehicle fires were reported within a four hour stretch. The first was on Lovejoy Road in Green Township. The Clymer and Commodore fire departments were dispatched at 10:18 AM. The second was on Church Street in Indiana Borough at 1:04 PM. That call brought out the Indiana Fire Association and Borough Police.
Along with the accident in Indiana Borough that we reported earlier in this newscast, a crash was reported in Burrell Township at 4:19 PM. Blairsville and Black Lick fire departments and State Police Troopers were dispatched to Strangford Road and discovered the incident was a minor fender-bender with no injuries reported.
Fire crews were also called out for two utility line-related calls. One was at 9:14 PM along Route 954 North. Plumville fire department responded. The other call was at 1:15 this morning along Stable Road in Cherryhill Township. Clymer fire department, Citizens Ambulance and State Police were dispatched at the time.
