INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana Borough Police have charged two men with public drunkenness in consecutive days. The first incident reported by police was on July 2nd around 2:47 PM. Police were called out in the 00 block on North Coulter Avenue. Police were able to identify the man as 61-year-old Milton Gray Jr. of Indiana. He was charged with summary public drunkenness.
The second incident was reported the next day, around 3:53 PM in the 300 block of Nixon avenue. That’s when police were called out for a report of a man lying on the ground and in close proximity to the road. The man was found to be highly intoxicated, and was taken into IRMC for treatment. A charge of public drunkenness was filed through District Judge Guy Haberl’s office.

State police are not filing charges connected with a theft of services investigation that was started on June 27th. Troopers say that an unknown person had put their garbage into the dumpster that belonged to a 78-year-old Indiana man. The action deprived the victim of proper compensation for their service, according to police. The victim decided not to press charges.
