No one was hurt in a crash involving two tractor-trailers last Thursday on Route 422 in Cherryhill Township. State Police say 28-year-old Kyles Salerno of Harrisburg was driving his tractor trailer west on 422 and entering a construction zone near Old Mill Road and was negotiating a right curve, while 38-year-old William Nozich of Johnstown just turned left onto 422 from the construction zone and was going west at a slow rate of speed. When Salerno hit the brakes, they failed, and he started to sound his horn to warn everyone in the area. Salerno tried to pass Nozich on the left, but hit the rear portion of Nozich’s truck. Salerno’s truck continued on and eventually hit a car driven by 55-year-old Sherry Kowchuck of Indiana. No injuries were reported, and police have not filed any charges.
