On Wednesday night, Clymer Borough Council approved asking the borough solicitor to prepare an ordinance that would transfer the borough’s storm water system to the Clymer Borough Municipal Authority.
Council president Louis Tate said that the reason for the transfer is to make things easier to acquire money for the upcoming storm sewer system project.
In other business, it was announced that Clymer Days will be held September 23rd to the 25th, and that a community cleanup event will be held in October, but a date has not yet been finalized.
