The Marion Center School Board will also have their budget up for approval tonight.
The budget for Marion Center comes to $25,568,076 for the 2019-2020 school year, and that includes taxes being set at 11.5474 mils. The proposed budget in May had real estate taxes going up .086 mils.
The board is looking at other items for approval to get ready for the next school year, including approval of those on the 2019 list for homestead and farmstead exclusion resolution, the naming of depositories for the district, and a partnership with pa-educator.net for next year at a fee of $1750. The website will help the district find teachers when they are needed.
That meeting starts at 7:30 PM
