A reported structure fire last night on North Ben Franklin Road in White Township turned out to be nothing more than a lot of smoke.
Indiana County 911 reported that the call went out at 9:09 PM and Indiana, Clymer and Creekside firefighters along with the Hazmat team and Citizen’s Ambulance Service were all called to the YMCA. Firefighters found no fire, but smoke coming from an old air handler.
The Y thanked the firefighters for their quick response, and they will be open for normal business today.
