At last night’s Indiana Borough Council Meeting, some residents spoke up about the rains and how some flooding is affecting their properties.
During the public works portion of the meeting, three people got up to complain about their backyards flowing over. Kim Broadbent and Karen Hixon both talked about flooding that hit their backyards in the 100 block of Philadelphia street during the recent round of rainstorms. Broadbent says that the increased water in her yard has brought about some extra animals.

In other news, the borough approved several change orders for the Community Center building. The library portion of the building has opened for business, but they are working on several punch list items to bring the project to full completion.
