UPDATE: More details are available on a fire this morning in Rayne Township.
Pete Yacavone, chief of the Creekside fire department said the initial call went out just before midnight this morning for a two-story single family home on Davis Road. Creekside, Indiana, Marion Center and Plumville fire departments initially responded, and Clymer fire department provided tanker assist at the scene. Yacavone said that the home was fully involved when they got to the scene.
No one was home at the time. There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is being investigated by Fire Marshals from the State Police, as Yacavone believes that circumstances are a bit suspicious.
A tenant was left homeless. Many of his personal belongings were destroyed. They are being assisted by the American Red Cross.

Indiana County 911 said the initial call went out at 12:08 this morning for a single family home on Davis Road. Creekside, Indiana, Marion Center and Plumville fire departments initially responded, and Clymer fire department provided tanker assist at the scene. Plumville firefighters on-scene said the home was fully involved when they got to the scene. The home is destroyed.
No word if anyone was injured. It is believed that the home was unoccupied at the time of the fire. The American Red Cross was called in to assist at the scene, and we’ve been told that they helped two people who lived at the home. Their identities have not been released as of yet.
