Pirates pitcher Mitch Keller got knocked around again last night in his second Major League start, and the Bucs lost their sixth straight game, 8-7 in 11 innings.
Keller gave up six runs in three innings, but the Pirates managed to come back and take a 7-6 lead on a Josh Bell homer in the 9th The Braves tied it in their half of the 9th and won it in 11 on a hit batsman and run-scoring double by Ozzie Albies off reliever Michael Feliz.

The Pirates are now tied with the Reds for last place in the NL Central. They’ll try to avoid their second straight series sweep against the Braves this afternoon with Joe Musgrove back on the mound. He was ejected in the first inning of Monday’s game after a bench-clearing incident. Julio Teheran starts for Atlanta.
First pitch is scheduled for 12:10, so it’s an 11:45 airtime on WCCS. The Bucs head to Miami for a three-game weekend series next.
