An Indiana man is in the Indiana County Jail after his arrest Monday for allegedly firing a shotgun during an argument inside a White Township home on Tuesday afternoon.
State police do not identify the suspect but the online criminal docket sheet identifies him as 31-year-old Joshua Neill Walters. Police were summoned to a Jeffrey Street home for a report of shots fired at 2:19 PM Tuesday. They say Walters and a 31-year-old woman were arguing when Walters became violent. The woman left the home and was in the driveway when Walters fired a 12-guage shotgun inside the home. No one was hurt.
Walters is charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied structure and recklessly endangering another person. He was arraigned before District Judge Guy Haberl and is being held in lieu of $10,000 bond.
