No reports available yet on accidents last evening on Route 210 in North Mahoning Township, with both the Plumville and Marion Center fire departments responding; and on Saltsburg Road in Young township, with the Coal Run and Iselin fire companies dispatched.

State Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver whose vehicle crashed last month on Ambrose Road in South Mahoning Township. It happened between 2:00 on the afternoon of May 20th and noon the next day. The vehicle struck a mailbox and an embankment, and then a second mailbox before fleeing toward Plumville. Police say the wreckage left behind indicates a black truck or SUV, possibly with damage to its front bumper, front passenger-side headlight and marker light, and right fender. A vandal caused damage at a bridge construction site on Route 22 westbound near the Jonnet Building in Burrell Township. State police this happened between last Thursday evening and Friday morning. A port-a-john was knocked over, several construction materials were thrown off the bridge into the water below, and motor oil was dumped on newly-poured concrete. No word yet on who was responsible.
