A Blairsville man is now in Westmoreland County Jail after he failed to show up for sex offender treatment.
Reports say that 21-year-old Nash Parker Bennett of Blairsville was taken back into custody by Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Deputies on Thursday morning. An arrest warrant was obtained after he failed to sex offender treatment. Last year, Bennett pleaded guilty to a felony charge of communicating with a minor for sexual abuse for an incident that dated back to August 1st of 2018.
No word yet on what new charges he will face for this latest incident.
