The Indiana County Chamber of Commerce honored six individuals with induction in the Indiana County Business Hall of Fame.
Last night’s celebration honored six individuals who have made a large impact on the Indiana Business Community. Those individuals were Dr. Willis Pratt, the last president at Indiana State Teachers College and first president of IUP; E. James Trimarchi Jr., the first president and CEO of First Commonwealth Financial Corporation; Jack Clark Jr. of Clark Metal Products, Lucy Donnelly of the Indiana Gazette and Cecil and Chuck Spadafora of Colonial Motors.
Chuck Spadafora said it was an unexpected honor to go into the hall of fame alongside his father, and also said that he felt the hall of fame should be for everyone as it takes a team effort to make a business and a community great.
Julia Trimarchi-Cuccaro talked about how much her father would have enjoyed the event. She said that a lot of his friends were present for the event and the stories shared would have been great.
Jack Clark Jr.’s son, Robert, was also in attendance, and said that his father always demonstrated a love of his community and the people in it.
Each of the members of the class of 2017 will have their names sit alongside the two other classes of the Hall of Fame on the wall in the lobby of the KCAC.
