Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi has finally named his starting quarterback, announcing yesterday that USC transfer Kedon Slovis has beaten out Nick Patti. Narduzzi said he based his decision on “the body of work from the first day of spring ball”, and that the determining factor was passing accuracy.
Pitt opens the season next Thursday night with the renewal of the backyard brawl against West Virginia.
