Coach Paul Tortorella and his IUP Crimson Hawks were back on the practice field yesterday as training camp continued.
Jack Benedict caught up with the coach and talked about roster depth.

Edinboro tops the preseason PSAC coaches poll for both men’s and women’s cross country, released yesterday. IUP is picked fourth in the men’s poll and 13th among the women’s teams. The Edinboro men are the four-time defending PSAC champs and their women have win three straight conference titles.
IUP returns three second-team All-PSAC runners, Joel Beckwith, Marco Cardone, and Kendall Branan.
The IUP field hockey team is ranked 8th in the preseason poll, with Shippensburg the top choice in the conference.
