The Pirates snapped their six-game losing streak, led by Bryan Reynolds, who hit a milestone home run, and JT Brubaker, who dominated on the mound.

Brubaker threw only 84 pitches in his seven innings but had to leave at the start of the 8th with a blister on his throwing hand.
The Pirates open a three-game series with the reds tonight at PNC Park. Righthander Bryse Wilson [2-7, 5.93 ERA] will pitch for the Bucs against Reds righty Graham Ashcraft [5-3, 3.96 ERA]. it will be a 6:40 airtime on WCCS.
ALTOONA
For the second straight game, the Altoona Curve got a walk-off hit, a three-run home run from designated hitter Malcom Nunez in the bottom of the 9th inning to cap an 8-5 win over Harrisburg. Catcher Endy Rodriguez continued his red-hot start at Double-A with a 3-for-5 night. Matt Fraizer had two hits including a homer, and Jared Triolo and Aaron Shackelford also had two hits.
The Curve have won two of the first three games of the series with the Senators and 7 of their last nine games overall. Righthander Aaron Shortridge starts for Altoona tonight.
