State police report two incidents involving drug use.
In one case, a 20-year-old Elderton man was pulled over after police were called about an erratic driver. Joseph Hadley Driscoll was charged with driving under the influence on May 4th after being stopped on Route 422 near Cunningham Road in Armstrong Township. Police say Driscoll was under the influence of narcotics and was taken to IRMC for a blood draw, but refused.
Additionally, 40-year-old Shannon Tyler Brink of Westover was charged in April after state police were summoned for an intoxicated person walking along North Main Street in Cherry Tree. Police say Brink was in possession of numerous narcotics.
